Indian Jewelry is a group from Houston, Texas that is known for its droning vision music and seizure-inducing stage show. Since forming in 2002, the band has gone through several incarnations as NTX+Electric, Turquoise Diamonds, Electric Fuck All, Borstal Boyz, the Corpses of Waco, and the Perpetual War Party Band, among others. They originally derive from the Swarm of Angels.
Like other Houston Noise Bands and their psychedelic rock predecessors, Indian Jewelry are prone to sonic and cosmic experiments. At the core Indian Jewelry is a titanic void constantly eating its own and everyone else’s. December 10, 2010Practically Houston’s entire indie scene showed up a few Saturdays ago to either play or watch glam-rockers Roky Moon & BOLT release their self-titled debut CD at the Backroom at the Mink, topping a massive eight-band upstairs/downstairs bill. The PA was busted that night due to all the rock, so the band and Fitzgerald’s teamed up for a free make-up show with Indian Jewelry headlining.
