Do713 - What to do in Houston

Alzie's is the young professionals group which supports The Alzheimer's Association Houston and Southeast Chapter. The group was established in 2006 by a group of young professionals wanting to increase awareness and support of the Alzheimer's disease in the Houston area.

Each spring, Alzie's hosts an annual Powder Puff football game to raise funds benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. In 2009, with kind donations of family and friends, the 150+ young men and women raised $132,000 for the cause.

Misson of Alzheimer's Association:
To eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
