- The Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts at Rice University, presents the Art Exhibition: "9" by Mick Johnson, on view January 12 through February 10. Mick Johnson's exhibition, "9", continues the artist's exploration of architectural space, the "language" used to describe and define that space, and his personal attachment/affinity for that space. Departing from his usual use of the home as subject matter, he finds himself in the midst of the most opportune mixture of architecture and nature the golf course. This event is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Saturdays and Sundays. An artist talk & reception will be held on opening night, January 12th at 6:00 p.m.
