Whether you’re looking for a course backed by the likes of Tiger Woods or a lighthearted putt through crazy courses lined with monsters, obstacles and all around zaniness, the Houston area is host to a wide variety of great miniature golf experiences. This guide will help you not only find the best place to pick up a putter, but help make sure your summer is a true hole-in-one!

1200 McKinney St. - Downtown
Putt through four technologically infused indoor courses where you earn points for your performance at Puttshack. The chain’s unique form of mini golf is supported by trackaball technology that keeps track of your every stroke. Backed by a full-service bar and an elevated dining menu, Puttshack is a golfing experience all its own.

Puttery is a modern take on the classic mini golf experience. Holey Moley says it’ll give you the “craziest round of mini golf you’ve ever played.” It’s a bold claim, but their uniquely inventive holes back it up. Speedy’s Fast Track may be known for its extensive go-karting, but don’t count out its mini golf credentials either. Its 18-hole mini golf course weaves around the race track and makes for an affordable addition to any raceday. Speedy’s even features laser tag and an arcade if you want to keep the fun rolling.

Enjoy a frighteningly fun time at Monster Mini Golf. Encounter spooky, albeit friendly, monsters while playing a round of glow-in-the-dark mini golf with the family. After, head over to the arcade, laser maze, virtual reality machines or bowling alleys to keep the good times rolling at this kooky venue.

U.S. Golf and Games has been serving the Houston area for nearly four decades. Open year-round, the family fun center offers 18 holes of climate-controlled mini golf. There’s also pool tables, batting cages, arcade games and go-kart racing to enjoy with the whole family as well.

Head to Shankz for 18 holes of its state-of-the-art black-light mini golf, bolstered by its famous course characters. With dozens of arcade games to boot, it’s no wonder Shankz has been serving The Woodlands for nearly two decades now.

AR’s newly designed 9-hole course gives mini-golfers a multi-dimensional indoor challenge with an urban theme. It’s also just one part of the entertainment hub’s offerings, which includes everything from roller skating and bowling to a ninja course and VR escape room. In other words, there’s tons to explore for the whole family at AR’s Entertainment Hub.

This party destination in Katy is home to a custom-designed mini golf course along with plenty of other attractions. Batting cages, inflatables, go-karts, an arcade and even a ferris wheel highlight the fun that can be had at Katy Party Place.
